Back from Newfoundland

Well we got back from Newfoundland a couple of days ago and spent the night in the basement to ride out a tornado warning. Great!!! It was a good time on the rock. I will be posting pics of our trip very soon.

Day 1 (We arrive)

Arrived in Newfoundland. It was a good flight and the kids where excellent on the plane. The guy behind me didn't think so but who cares about that. Got to the house at about 10pm and just settled into the rooms.

Day 2

Got up at around 10am NFLD time(8:30am Ottawa time) and got on the go. I took Jack outside for a ride on the lawn tractor and Grace played with Catalan. Suzanne, Rodger , Phillip, Jacob, Chris and Barbara arrive.

Day 3

Wedding rehearsal. Went to Conception Bay South to my brothers' joint for booze and food.

Day 4

The wedding. Andrews' final day of life :-). It rained a little during the wedding (actually it rained a lot). Went to the reception and finished at around 3:00am.

Day 5

Drove around conception bay. Stopped at a nice looking harbor. Went to my brothers' to do the gift opening thingy. Left and then went to Bell island. Saw some whales from the beach there.

Day 6

Dad's birthday party. Drove Jack on the tractor a lot. The brothers played soccer.

Day 7

Went downtown and shopped our faces off. Lot's of nice artsy fartsy stores there. Saw some nice stuff.

Day 8

Went back to Ottawa
