The tractors

We arrive in Newfoundland and here is what we did on the second day. Jack loves the tractor. We spent many an hour mowin' the lawn. Jack is showing us the handling capabilities of the Honda 3813 Lawn tractor. Tell us about it Jack:

Well Daddy, this bad boy has 18 BHP with a cutting deck of 38". You can bale two bushels in the bagger (an optional attachment not shown here) This is a liquid cooled, 4 stroke motor with a 4 speed gear box and 12 mowing heights. A tight turning radius and a joy to drive.

I am totally kkk-nackered after a hard day of test driving. Hmmmm milk it does a body good. Anyway this is the John Deer 155CC with plenty of leg room and a comfy chair. It has a 42" mowing deck with 12 mowing heights. It has 30BHP and will easily power a lawn cutting utility and a snow blower ( a must in Newfoundland's harsh climate). Although lacking the Honda's liquid cooling system, the John deer is a machine for all jobs and will get the toughest jobs done be it on the grass or in the snow. That's it for me today. Next week I will be testing the Pioneer chainsaw and the Massey Ferguson farm tractor

Bubby says "Thanks Jack for the demonstration. But think those models are a little large for our garden."
