Bubby and I have had the visit of an old friend - John Hopkins- and his wife Prue.
Definition of old friend? we sailed together all over the world for 3 years starting in 1955 and he was my best man in 1958. We saw hurricanes, typhoons, and all the usual dangers but most of all we laughed a lot and we remember all those smiles.

Some backlog stuff

Here is V and her friend Karen looking good after there 5k run. They finished within seconds of each other. They are happy. The start of the race was crazy though. Imagine 5000 people sprinting buy you. I didn't even see V at all. To bad. We were very proud of her. Good Job V.

The Bath

I was bathing the kids tonight. Placed Jack and Grace in the bath and then turned around to get something from the sink. As I turned back towards the bath a great wall of water struck me in the face. I look down and saw the culprit.

Hello from Ottawa

Hello everyone:

This is the inaugural post for the Willamsburg blog. Me and the family are heading to Newfie land on Wednesday for a week of fun filled entertainment. This is our first trip as a family on a plane since 2003(Chris's 50th birthday party). I am hoping that everyone will participate and will add photos and the like. I am going to invite a few to try to add posts as a test.
