A quite night

Well V worked last night. She left at 10:30pm as opposed to 6:30pm but she didn't want to go. She is off for a few days now and we have a lot of things planned to do in Ottawa. I still have many pictures to plow through to set up here but I ran outta steam last night.

Newfoundland has definitely changed. St. John's is a very metropolitan city now and high fashion is very prevalent. Lots o' good looking well dressed business people walking around. George Street is the same as usual and the George Street festival was in high gear.

We walked around the downtown core and there were many cruise ships in the harbor.
The amount of high quality art shops was staggering. A new Keg restaurant has opened on the waterfront and probably has the best view of the harbor (as well as the battery hotel).

There is definitely a lot to see and do in town now. There are multiple whale watching tours from St. John's harbour, lots of art stores and shopping opportunities. The food is always plentiful and pleasant.
